Intérprete
La banda juvenil Wild Youth se formó en 2016 en Dublín por parte del batería Callum McAdam (31 de enero de 1993), el teclista Connor O’Donohoe (7 de marzo de 1994), el vocalista David Whelan (5 de marzo de 1994) y el guitarrista Ed Porter (3 de octubre de 1991).
Después de componer y grabar sus propias canciones, consiguen firmar por la discográfica independiente Imperfectly Perfect Records. Gracias a ello, lanzaron su primera canción All or nothing en Mayo de 2017. A este le siguieron Lose control (2017), Can’t move on (2018) y Making me dance que tuvieron un cierto éxito en las listas irlandesas. Los últimos temas mencionados formaron parte del primer EP de la banda, The Last Goodbye (2019).
Aprovechando el éxito, el grupo realizaron varias giras conjuntas con Lewis Capaldi y Westlife, asi como fueron teloneros para Kodaline, Niall Horan o The Script. Al acabar los tours, y por la pandemia de Covid-19, los chicos se cerraron en el estudio y no pararon de sacar sencillos como Next to you (2020), Through the phone (2020), Champagne butterflies (2021), Forever girl (2021), Seventeen (2022), entre otros.
El 3 de febrero de 2023 los Wild Youth vencieron el mítico Eurosong, para seleccionar al representante irlandés en Eurovision, con We are one.
