Lys Assia desmiente los rumores sobre su participación en Malmö 2013
Lys Assia, primera ganadora del Festival de Eurovisión en el año 1956, representante de Suiza en 1957 y 1958 y participante del Die Grosse Entscheidungs Show 2012 de Suiza, ha querido aclarar a través de eurovision-spain.com diversas informaciones que han surgido recientemente mediante un comunicado de prensa remitido a nuestra redacción.
La artista desmiente su participación en el Festival de Eurovisión 2013. Los rumores afirmaban, incluso ayer mismo en el periódico Giornale.sm, su fichaje como representante de San Marino. La supuesta candidatura era All in your head, junto al grupo New Jack, obra del compositor Ralph Siegel.
Esta misma propuesta ya fue presentada y eliminada en la fase previa del Die Grosse Entscheidungs Show 2013. Un resultado decepcionante para la intérprete que asegura estar dispuesta a representar a cualquier país porque es su sueño competir nuevamente en el mejor concurso del mundo. Lys Assia confirma no obstante estar en negociaciones para formar parte de la edición 2013 del certamen de la UER. Las reuniones podrían conseguir que su conexión con el concurso sea la mayor de los años precedentes. El resultado de dichas negociaciones serán anunciados próximamente.

For the past weeks, a lot of rumors were going on about Miss Assia and the Eurovision Song Contest. We have waited to react on them, until now. We are very happy that we can use the high quality website Eurovision-Spain to help releasing our news.
Some rumors were floating around the internet, especially on Facebook and Twitter. Some media reported this rumors as truth and turned it into a hype. We, as a promotion team, are getting a lot of messages and reactions. The fans of Miss Assia want to know if the rumors are true. At the same time when the rumor started spreading itself, we, as a promotion team, announced that Miss Assia had some exciting news to tell herself. We know that this maybe caused some confusion.
Yes, Miss Assia was very disappointed with the result of her melodic song All in your head in the Swiss internet selection. And yes, Miss Assia would be very delighted to represent another country at the Eurovision Song Contest. It is still a dream of Lys and she still finds it the “best contest in the world”. But, at this moment we can official say that Miss Lys Assia is not representing any other country at the Contest and that, at this moment, she is not participating with All in your head or even with New Jack and Mister Ralph Siegel.
Miss Assia is very delighted that many fans and other people are hoping to see her again at the Contest. We can say this: Miss Lys Assia will also have a close connection to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 in Malmö, maybe even a closer one than years before. Meetings are being held and negotiations are being made, as we speak. It’s maybe not too late to start hoping. We are planning to release that exciting news at the end of this month or at the beginning of this month. For now, that’s all that we have to say.
